It is both, and neither. It transcends those distinctions.

It simply is.

If your car drives ok it probably is. Don't feel bad about the poor ending. It just means you have upped your skills to your current limit. You will surpass that limit with more practice. Remember even the pros that have been driving for years sometimes surpass their limits and crash.
Hahaha, I will readily admit I gripped the passenger door handle quite firmly. This was legit. He was hugging the corners at the right spots, apexing very tightly. Was using the entire track. It was incredible. He was even able to pass fancy Porsche gt-whatevers!

His shifting sucked ass, though. Weird since he said he was a race car driver for many years. Like ok I've only driven standard for a year, but I felt like my shifts were smoother at least half the time.

I mean, it sorta did? But then when he started wringing the car out way more than I thought possible I knew he had the experience to share with me.

Guy know how to fucking handle the BRZ beyond just the easy handling capabilities. Completely astonished.

Racecars don't require use of a clutch when in motion?

Hey. I was very careful with your car since I know that it is the second tranny already so didn't trust what it had been through before I drove it.

Not just race cars. When my TOB blew I was just leaving home for work. Contrary to popular belief I have a lot of work to do and could not miss the day. I drove from home, got coffee, did my 3 minute drive to the highway, merged and drove 45 minutes, went on the off ramp and drove the 5 minutes through town to the plant. I pushed the clutch in exactly 6 times that trip since I had to shut the car down at the lights in between highway and work. The rest of the shifts were no clutch involved. I only lightly ground the gears two or three times. I was very proud of myself. Not something I would recommend for fun but it can be done.
