The shop I use (big norcal 86 sponser) is a Subaru speciality shop. Guys like them do speciality because they care, like some of the shop owners you talk with regularly here.

Yes true. There are those rare exceptions. They aren't the hired hands at the dealers and more importantly, they don't care because they're being compensated any more. They care all on their own.

I have yet to be happy with any work I've farmed out. Mrs. Ultra will back me up on that. Each time was after researching and agonizing over who would be best qualified to perform the work. Something always went wrong where I had to intervene and school the professional. I would much rather be impressed than be appreciated for my patience.
