SRS warning defeat for seat install
I have heard and read that a resistor can be installed to prevent SRS warning light when aftermarket seats are installed. Working on 2013 FR-S. Anybody know where to buy the right resistor and where to place it in the wiring?

SRS defeat
I’ve tried Evasive Motorsport. They say the sell resistors, but don’t know how many ohms to buy or where to put them. Does anyone have a better contact name there, or more info?

Well, I looked again at the link to Evasive - provided above. I see where they say that the 86 requires a 2.2 ohm resistor. It looks like there may be instructions included, maybe in Japanese. Do these tell us - in English - where the resistor goes? Also, I’m trying just a passenger race seat first. Do I need 1, or 2 - do I need to place one in drivers side while I replace passenger side?

SRS airbag
Evasive Motorsport said 2.2 ohm resistor for 86. Are they wrong? Also, still unclear abt where to put resistor. Car wiring connectors to OEM seat are 2 connectors with a total of 5 wires. Which 2 do I Place resistor into? I want to be careful, I realize there is probably small chance of airbag deploying, but what an expensive lesson that would be!
