That reminds me, I'm not sure what to do when my 86 lease is up. This is my second one. I had a 2013 that I almost bought out, but a 2017 lease was only like $12 more a month for the same awesome lease, so I just did that instead (my dad's suggestion). Now I am likely to just buyout the 2017.

But I'm curious if I might like something else more, however unlikely that seems at the moment. Eh, I've got a couple of years, at least.

If you're willing to go with a Ti Sport, a used 2017 can be had for around $30,000 already. Of course, then you'd actually own an FCA product, and I wouldn't be surprised if they continue to sink in value.

My foot is way too heavy for 500+ hp in anything, and I'd keep the BRZ around for 3 pedal duty. A Ti Sport would be just fine.

Except, at the end of the day, I know I would be driving a pretender. Looks good, but no balls by comparison (Tcoat, bite your tongue). With me, its either get something great or not at all.

Plus, my budget for my next car will be more than $30k. I can get *so* much more car for that money than a mid-level Alfa. Only perk to that would be getting to say "I own an Alfa."

Also, in that same vein, the Kia Stinger GT is in my view as a successor (New for $38K, and thats another twin turbo V6) . Actually got to drive that one, and while I otherwise liked it, they aren't quite as luxurious as the Alfa, doesn't look quite as good, and has a porthole for a rear window (at least how it appears from the driver's seat). Still a blast to drive, however, and *much* cheaper.

2 issues, however: First, even used they are mostly north of $60k ($73k new, so they appear to be holding their value for now), so still some sticker shock.
