Loud Clunk while driving

I just took my car out for a drive and it stated to give out a large clunk after I went over a small bump. It now does it while speeding up, slowing down, going over bumps, and did it when it got out of my vehicle. The sound is coming from the rear passenger side of the car.

Car is a 2015 with 33k and completely stock. Are there just some bolts in the suspension that might have come loose or am I possibly looking at a major repair?

Check the rear top strut nut, and make sure you have an Allen wrench in the top of the strut so you don’t spin the shaft.

I would also make sure the rear endlinks are tight, but these aren’t as known to make noise as the front endlinks.

If it's a completely stock car with no record of accident or touching any parts recently I would look for other causes of noise besides suspension components first. Do you have anything loose in the trunk/cabin possibly? A video recording of it would be nice to help identify the cause.

If you have eliminated those possible causes then I would proceed to examine suspension components and take peek under the car for any suspects. Check lug nuts, brake caliper, coilover strut, etc.

This video is a perfect representation of the sound. The video is of the sound coming from the front of the car rather than the rear like mine. The car is currently sitting in a maintenance shops lot so I can't get a video atm. I checked the lug nuts and they were still all torqued to spec and when I jacked up the car I didn't see anything abnormal. My car knowledge is extremely limited so that isn't saying much.

I checked the trunk and everything seemed to be okay there. I read in other places that it could be the jack moving around but the noise was still there even after I removed all the foam padding in the trunk.

I had to get my front strut bushings replaced around 15K miles, 100% stock. Slightly different sounds, since it first showed up when turning the wheel at low speed and the bushing would bind up and then release. But if they were far enough gone, they could certainly make the same noise going over the right kind of bump. Regardless, you have something loose and it needs to be investigated, so a trip to a reputable shop is advisable if you don't have the ability/experience yourself.
