I love my rubber trunk pad. I always use a rubber. (I do travel everyday with an overnight bag even if I don't plan* on overnighting).

I think you may have missed the point. The "trunk" in Sapphireho's Lotus, is about the size to fit an old gym bag......

So, you carry an overnight bag all the time ....... in case you get lucky ??.....
