My speculation: There will not be any next generation. 86 will be cancelled with Supra release. Subaru will be very happy to stop twin production. All turbo/low-power/torque-dip whiners will find some other cars to whine about.

I don't think it will be cancelled with the Supra. They are entirely different price points and performance levels.
