Wow. Every single one.
Used to catch a ride with the milk truck down a dead end road and back. Then ice cream bars. Wasn't even a tiny bit pervy.

Sculling a dory around the bay.
Making and painting a new hydroplane each spring to drag through the tide pools.
Building boats out of actual wood. And they really floated when you got done.
Free broken Mercury outboards. Couple bucks put them right.
Delivering papers every day by bicycle.

Roy's Station in Japantown here doesn't have one like this but actually has a refurbished, "classic" glass bottle coke vending machine. Pretty snazzy.

I delivered the San Jose Mercury News for years every morning on my route bike. Giant basket in the front, rack in the back.

So coast route is 101 to 1? That would be more fun, but I will be quite excited to get home.

That, or 395 down the back side of Oregon to Reno.
There may be a few passes that are still icy this time of year.
The coast keeps you out of that.
