Thanks. The only reason for the -1.0 camber in the rear was to get the most amount of traction when accelerating on straights.

To increase grip in straight line floored acceleration, i'd try to get as even as possible rear camber between sides, and add slight toe-in. With stock alignment, which was all around imprecise, i had to be very careful with throttle in winter even in straights. Now even if rear wheels slip during acceleration, rear won't dance around requiring lot of corrections.

Hi guys,
I think my camber plates are in need of a rebuild. Is it ok to install the stock front suspension and run that in tandem with RCE spring on a bilstein? I would get an alignment to compensate for the different toe, but just want to know if I can drive the car like this for 1-2 weeks. |

Hi there,
I have a set of AST5100 and planning to use OEM Top Hats, do I need camber bolts to achieve -2 deg front camber? Or the coilovers itself has a slotted hole so I can reuse factory bolts to achieve the -2 deg. Thanks! I have been told to replace the factory BRZ bolts with OEM WRX STI bolts but I am not sure if that's necessary or if it fits. https://parts.subaruonlineparts.com/...bC1oNC1nYXM%3D https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=834115 This thread also says do not use OEM 14mm bolt on the slotted hole. So what bolt shall I use? I am confused, Thanks! http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54834 OEM 14mm Bolts https://parts.subaruonlineparts.com/...g0LWdhcw%3D%3D Last edited by botbs; 04-18-2018 at 11:54 PM. |

Not sure on the first questions but here's my input for the quoted bit: any camber bolt can slip. That's why it important to recheck them every so ofter (like before/after a track day, when you rotate tires, etc) I have ran the 14mm OEM bolt with my slotted AST 4150 for 2 track days and almost 10k street miles without issue (this includes canyon runs as well). Take it for what it's worth, but |

I posted this question in the other thread regarding the USDM STI springs but couldn't get a clear answer, I am re-posting it here. I apologize in advance for being redundant.
Why are the USDM STI springs (B2010CA000) "not applicable to Limited with Performance Package"? We know the lowering springs such as the RCE yellows have not changed over the years and they work well with the PP Sachs dampers. Following that logic, why wouldn't the USDM STI springs work well with or be "applicable to" the Sachs dampers? |
