Or...

Come to STX. We have aftermarket endlinks. No guarantees they won't suck too.

I always thought that it was strange that SSC couldn't use aftermarket endlinks, every other class where you can change sway bars they let you do endlinks as well (which makes sense since the OEM endlinks weren't designed to work with anything other than the OEM swaybars).

Write your letters, write them often, and write them know that I stand beside you in your struggle against the tyranny of stock endlinks!

That and the tune... Yes, limiter sucks, so just shift if you stay on it too long. A lot more fun that way.

I am curious if this KC person may have damaged his endlinks when crashing in straight line on highway and that could be part of the issue.

I mean, nobody was really complaining that much.

KC had an unexpected issue with the install. ...and we discussed OE equivalents. Yeah, you can get them off a variety of ways, but if you want to adjust between runs, not dealing with rust and maybe an allen wrench would be nice.

With that said, end links is probably the only other mod I'd endorse. Under non-spec class circumstances, I'd never accept endlinks at that angle.

I'm curious who you are... Because there were other factors, 1st of which... that was a different car.

All of this talk about endlinks... I won't be able to install the SSC parts until days before the first event in my region. Should I prepare for the worst and buy some replacements so I'm not scrambling? Is it that big of an issue with these cars?

The OEM endlinks are highly rust prone. I was unable to remove either the fronts or the rears due to rust when my car was less than a year old and had never seen a winter.

If they aren't rusted so badly that you can't get an allen key into them, then you should be fine.

Yes. Have spares ready to go. You can always sell them or return them if not used.

And they will sell to other SSCers that DO have rusted ones.

The rear endlinks are at a pretty ridiculously lousy angle. I had called Eibach about it and they say that they are FINE. All that accomplished is make me think Eibach is a little more clueless than they let on.
