Where to live in ID?
Oregon has introduced an gun ban, as in turn them in or be a felon, which I assume will pass. It's a few more years before I'm willing to hand them over muzzle-first, so if it does pass, I'm out of here.
Where to look in Idaho? Would prefer to be relatively close to a VA facility. Thanks. |

Don’t you know they’re going to protect you??? No one will have a gun so you’ll be so safe. If someone decides to break in to your house or kill you they can’t use a gun because it will be against the law. Just kick back and enjoy the utopia.
Sarcasm of course. I just don’t know how some people’s minds work. |

The current proposal as it is written does not say that.
A person that wanted to keep their assault weapon would need to register it with the Oregon State Police. OSP would look at a person's criminal record — and other information — to determine whether they are "disqualified from possessing the weapon." "People who legally own assault rifles or large-capacity magazines will not be required to surrender their firearms, but will be required to register their firearms with the state," |

Also, it's just a petition at this point, it's not a bill, it's not even getting support from legislators. I think your level of concern is a bit premature.
