I went to a nice (well decor & location wise) restaurant on the water in Melbourne, FL. The food wasn't bad but not great either just kinda meh. Seems like a cool place to be on a Saturday night though.

Ended up splurging a bit more than usual and ordered delivery through doordash. A bit slower than usual without me doing the driving to get the food but the convenience + not needing to go into the rain with shitty drivers was pretty nice.

Here is my review of the new AT&T u-verse TV fiber optic service.
If you love rebooting your receiver/DVR at least 5 or 6 times a day, this service is for you! If you really like to keep your DVR list clean, this service is a must. It has a convenient feature that clears your DVR of any and all recorded shows after a couple reboots. And well, the picture quality speaks for itself! |

Ok, what is the average age in this picture? I'm sure they are all in bed by Saturday night.

The listing picture. ![]() The picture is also from 2years ago before the current owner bought and destroyed it. I've got 3 days between closing and the date I have to be out of my rental. In that time I'm doing 6 new vinyl sliding windows, 1 rear sliding door, removing their shitty roof job (they roofed over and closed off all the attic vents,) and a complete kitchen w/ appliances. And 2 new garage doors seeing as they ran into the left one. The list after that is a mile long, excluding the rear yard, which hadn't been touched in 2 years (literally.) It's all do able with a little money and a lot of time. Most of it just fixing cheap diy/shotty workmanship. The only good news, is once it is done, and done correctly (I think) it could be in to $260-270 bracket... should it come to that.

Currently on an industry related, week long course. I am blown away by horribly terrible I am with a lot of the math. Biggest issue I have is keeping units straight. A lot of the problems give units in mV and V, mA and A. In the steps for the equations, it's almost like the first equation uses mV, the next uses V, the next uses mV and the next uses V.
Normally I don't get worked up about tests, but I'm feeling pretty fucking anxious about the test that's coming up on Friday. Problem is that the basic set up for the testing on Friday is there are 13 (14 including the grace period to finish up anything) different stations, and you get 12 minutes at each. Most of them are pretty easy and just require using a voltmeter to obtain basic values from things. But, there are 2 math only stations, with 14 equations to solve. Naturally, the one single part of this week that I ended up zoning out during was the lesson with this math stuff in it. Ah well, just gotta take my time and be aware of whether the equation calls for mV/mA or V/A. For you engineery/material sciences types, the equations in question relate to finding pipe span resistance and calibration factor, residual current, current pick up on coating, pipe coating resistance, specific coating resistance and specific coating conductance. |
