Now, THAT brings to mind a long back-in-the-day story.

It was a warm summer evening in July of 1979, In CT. The recently divorced neighbor lady, with two kids, had this 1970's MGB that wasn't running too good, so, she noticed I had an MGB, so she asked me if I would take a look at it.

Now, she was a fine looking woman, so, I agreed. I fired it up in her driveway and noticed their was very little exhaust coming out the tail pipe. Yep, the cat had come unglued and almost totally plugged the exhaust system.

Now, here comes the Jordanwolf part. She had this 12 year old son that kept hanging around my place, since his younger daughter spent a lot of time with my young sons in their pool.

I worked with the young boy, since his father was gone. I gave him odd jobs and taught him some stuff about how stuff works.

His mother was quite grateful ....... well, not quite THAT grateful.....

Just as I thought the boy was making progress he had a bad relapse. One winter evening, the mother had left him and his sister alone at home. She had a fire going in a free standing wood burning stove and the boy tried to get it to burn faster by throwing a can of gasoline on it. Yep, it blew.

The kids got out of the house with minor burns but the house didn't fair as well.

So, the point of the story is ...... just when you think a person is making good progress ..... always keep in mind that they may slip back ......
