OK,OK, it wasn't mine, I borrowed it from my Uncle's dealership for the night.

Nope, I didn't get any more sex in that car, than I would have gotten in my 1948 Chevrolet...........

I went looking for one of those just about the same time as the low rider fad was taking hold around here. The things went from dirt cheap "just get it outta here" to "You want how much?" almost overnight. Any Chev between 59 and 69 tripled in value all at once.

I spent an entire 10 seconds researching and coming up with Nash. I'm surprised that wasn't it.

I almost killed my wife last night over the home remodel. She keeps changing her mind on everything. Now she doesn't like the shower tile. Well, too late, it's set. I'm not paying to have them bang out brand new tile and re-do it.

I spent hours on it and was headed in the totally wrong direction right from the gegining. In hindsight it was really dumb of me since just last weekend I watched a whole series on the American auto industry from it's birth up to just after WW2. They even said in that series that Ford made cars in Europe in the 20s and 30s and I forgot all about it. Since I ruled out US cars from the start I never even looked at pics of the Model A. A classic example of how research that is too focused can mess with the results.

I sold my '64 SS to a Mexican gentleman. I'm sure it was only a matter of days before it was scraping the ground.

I sold my 64 SS about 2 years before they were in demand so got rock bottom price for it.

Ya, I sure do hear that.......

When we remodeled a few years back, my idea was to paint all walls "doe skin".

Nooooo...... each room had to be different!

We had more paint in large test swatches in each room, than I bought for the final decisions.....

We finally had a couple big storms pass by last week. I didn't drive my car for a few days. After sitting for about 5 days the battery was sure cranking slower yesterday morning. These OEM batteries sure seem weak. I think I might put a new battery in this weekend just for safety sake.

Bummer.

I think a 64 SS would make one kickass resto-rod. Modern suspension, brakes, independent rear with a big LS under the hood. That would be cool.

Anyone here use high fidelity ear plugs at concerts? I am gong to a handful this year and last time the ringing/muddled sounds didn't go away for a couple days. Don't know if they life up to the hype of being better then the foam plugs in terms of sound quality.

I still have a part so can justify the rest of the project!

Edit: Shit, sorry, not up on my usual game.

Can't believe I missed that opportunity.

Ahem.

I'd "bang her out" over the shower tiles that she doesn't like anytime.
