$900 for labor is about right. A transmission job is quoted at 6 hours, which is plausible from personal experience.

$900 is a little high for parts.

Primary components should only cost around $600 [LINK]:

• $355 for a flywheel
• $140 for pressure plate
• $70 for clutch
• $20 for release bearing
• Etc etc. The rest is miscellaneous and shouldn't contribute too much more to the cost.

Ask if they can price match to the link. Olathe is an official Toyota dealer

It's hard to beat the OE price for the OE components. The only upgrades you might make are:

1. 2017 Release bearing (a.k.a. throw-out bearing, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED & IS ACTUALLY A TSB RESOLUTION)
2. Lightweight Flywheel (~$400, close to stock flywheel cost)
3. Complete Stage 1 Kit /w Flywheel (~$700 [ACT SB7-HDSS LINK] but can also be found easily for <~$600 [CSG LINK], which is close to complete OE replacement cost)
