Yea, I'll just have to go for my normal evening drives up to Boulder Creek via Bear Creek Road, and down HWY 9 to get that water out of my crankcase.

Welp, hadn't heard of Bear Creek Road other than passing it on hwy 9 and I just checked that out on Google Maps. Might have to check that out the next dry weekend morning.

I've been looking into it. Really should insulate it first, and would need to run a gas line out from the house, not to mention more electric, and any new electric is on hold... Out of space in the panel. So its a major undertaking.

Or a cheap fire hazard... And have to unplug my wife's car...

Also, this much garage time is hopefully unusual. I don't want to make a habit of replacing my car.

Wasn't too bad once I got going last night. Except the front swaybar is a pain.

All my cars are low mileage because my commute has been 4 miles for the past 26 years.

I drove the twin to work today. 50° outside. By the time I got to work the coolant was 190° and the oil 192°.

I just change the oil more often

Bear Creek is fun, and usually bicycle free. 17 to Bear Creek to hwy 9 back down thru Saratoga back to 17 is one of my favorite evening drives. From my house it is a 50 mile drive.

Yep, I had that feeling this morning when I stopped at the auto parts store to get new windshield wipers for mrs humfrz's Saturn.

I looked at the wiper arm ....... saw several ways it looked like it could be unhooked (with a screwdriver) and all but one would break something, so I decided just to have the girl at the parts store put them on for me. Nope, no screwdriver required.......

DAMN! ...... I'm getting to be such an automotive pansy ......
