Just be glad they aren't also your customers, vendors, and competitors all rolled into one. Because then you have to figure out how to make it clear to your other vendor/customer/competitor that the original plan you laid out isn't going to work because the first VCC did something stupid without offending the first VCC because you can only interact with the second VCC by being invited by the first VCC.

Then there's a third VCC that is supposed to be working with you to meet the second VCCs criteria, which involves fixing the new 'problem', but is (not so) secretly working to cut you out of the loop with the first VCC because they pay better and care less because they don't also have a 4th VCC to answer to. Not going to get into VCCs 5-10, but you get the picture.

So, I think I'm going to buy my dad's truck from my mom. It's a 2005 4 door 4x4 same as mine, the only difference is mine has 95k miles and my dad's has 43k. that and the back bumper needs to be replaced. I think my dad went to the same driving school as Humfrz. I was thinking selling mine after, but my 17yo will be getting his license this summer. I wonder what it would cost to insure a 17yo with a truck with a hemi?

I remember my first one at an actual track. I went to Bondurant when they were at Sears Point. I remember being so excited and scared at the same time. It was probably one of the best weeks of my life.

I told my wife when I retire I am going to use a chunk of my vacation payout and go to Bondurant again at there facility in Arizona. They use Vipers now.

Thanks! That’s pretty much exactly how I feel! I’m super excited but just a bit on edge for a few reasons. Lots of money for a one day thing even though I can afford it, definitely a challenge since I’m still new to performance driving, and kind of just a different type of thing to do. Slowly been working my way up the past year or so.

That sounds quite fun. Hope you get a chance once your house is remodeled!

Wondering where to post a tool where one can put in any upgrades to rotatey bits of a car and get affected performance output in terms of straight line acceleration. Would also cover overall weight reduction/increase as a side effect. Tired of seeing debate on something that can be numerically solved. Pun intended.

The problem with trying to do that is that such changes can actually be hard to quantify due to the number of variables involved. The engineers are going to hate this statement but math only works properly in a controlled environment. Not all modifications will fit into a nice easy equation that is applicable across the board. That is why the subject matter is debated because people want a nice clean X or Y answer when the reality could be something between A and Z.

@Notatroll ( obviously I remember his name wrong) had something that he was working on that was at least good in theory but he disappeared a while back.
