BRAID wheels now available at RCE!
Racecomp Engineering is excited to announce that we will now be carrying BRAID wheels and their range of flow-formed and forged wheels!
www.braidusa.com www.instagram.com/braidwheelsusa/ We've never been a shop that sold a lot of wheels, but I've been eyeing BRAID for a while now as a great option for a couple reasons. Basically, their wheels are available in (almost) any size, offset, bolt pattern, and color. This gives you the flexibility to get the exact fitment you want for your set up without compromising based on what's available OR what's popular with everyone else. The wheels are built in Europe and shipped in about 4 weeks. Reasonably priced and extremely strong flow-formed wheels that are used extensively in tarmac rally, dirt, rally cross, touring car, and even LMP cars. BRAID wheels feature steel bolt inserts to prevent wear and are hub-centric. Please PM for details! ![]() ![]() ![]() shoutout to nameless for their awesome rally GT86 - Andrew |

We'll have some 17x8 +40 offset wheels in soon to check weight for the SSC spec class autocrossers. We've been told roughly 18 lbs. I'll take a lot of pictures.
Also, brake caliper clearance is excellent and I'll do my best to test them on the PP Brembos as soon as I can. I doubt there'd be any issues...see below for 17x7 wheels clearing Focus RS six pot brembos: ![]() - Andrew |

RCE: you can try finding narrow 15" to fit stockers & 16" to fit PP brembos for winter options too

RCE: while it's hard to find 15" that fit (wheel directory still lists confirmed only one), but with such "any offset/any size", and as there are some 15 ice rally wheels for subbies (possibly not for brembos though), imho there should some chance to find one for stock brakes too. Damn, i sometimes wish for someone to make twins stock brake fitment template, so that it can be mailed to some wheel makers or shops to check fitment. It's not just BBKs that sometimes need to be checked for clearance

Getting the offset in a desirable range will be key, like ET40 or lower. A tad wider wouldn't hurt either, especially since most people running 16s will be using a 225/50.

@Racecomp Engineering what are the specs on the 16's that clear the brembos? I'd love to get a set for autocross!

Look into custom valved Bilstein b6 shocks and prices from their website. It still wouldn't be professional rally level, but its the next best thing for far less $.
