Had a blowout on way to work, tire?

Hey guys, had a nail ruin a tire on the way in this morning. I have 3 at 70-80%, any one have the factory tires wasting space? Come on I know everybody hates these tires. 😩 Portland area, hit me up.

I've got all 4 at less than 3k miles. Just pulled them off the car like ten days ago.

Don't run different tires on the rear axle. In fact, if I had 1 tire blow out down even 20%, I'd get 2 new tires on the front or rear.

If you mix tires with different amounts of wear by getting used tires, measure the tire's diameter. Accurately. If they are not within about 1/16" of each other, don't use it. You will do damage with mismatched tires. Remember- the least expensive way in is often the most expensive way out.

just get 2 new tires.

On a rear axle with a Torsen diff, will you expand on this subject? What damage and why?

That is a little specific. Sure don't run different tires on the back but a 16th of an inch isn't going to hurt anything. I doubt even a 1/2 inch in diameter would hurt anything. I doubt there is a car out there where all the tires are within a 16th of an inch of each other. Hell a 2 pound pressure difference between your two rear tires probably gives you a difference.
