I saw a guy on the enthusiast page filed on paypal claiming the product was defective. Turns out, he ripped it putting it on and admitted he "got so upset" and so filed a claim.

Love it when I get a message saying "what's the lowest you'll go?" And I reference the price listed in my ad. Don't tend to hear back after that.

by the end of my time there, when I heard that question,
I would just point to the price on the tag and say "Bout this much."

Sellers want the highest price and complain about buyers.
Probably been the same since Org sold Ugg a mastodon tusk.
Neither side is right or wrong when it comes to bargaining it just boils down to each indvidual's perspective in the transaction.
What is not cool is trying to get something for nothing by saying it was no good, buying something to just try out and then returning it knowing full well you were not going to keep it in the first place, or any other sleazy actions where either the buyer or seller is scamming.,

These thing really aren't true except in purely competitive markets.

This is one of the worst communities for pricing I've ever experienced. It's brutal. And often stupid. Asking clean title prices for a rebuild?! Paying pennies for OE parts because they came on the car and must be worthless, despite aftermarket equivalents being quite a bit more?

About as true as it comes. You could probably word it differently but it basically boils down to that. Nobody goes looking for the highest price on an item and nobody complains when they get what they asked for on something they sold.

Maybe I should have said "they can get" for each group?
