Oil leak on front cam seal?

I was looking at the pics the shop took while my BRZ was getting repaired and I noticed that one of my cam-end-covers (?) is darker than the other three, looks like there is some oil leaking in that area. Has anyone else had issues in that arear? Or on one of the other ones?

Cool, thanks guys, I will check it out. I took a look at it and it seems pretty light, there is nothing on the under panel and nothing is actually wet.

Ya I don't think I would even worry about trying to fix that. Just clean it up and see if it comes back.

I have a few months left on my warranty, so I think that is what I am going to do. If it comes back, I will have them deal with it.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Mine is leaking same place as OP as well as the passenger side cam cover I think. Cleaned it all up and paying more attention to oil consumption to figure out how bad it really is.

it was there before all of that (grimy dirty buildup), I just hadn't noticed since it isn't dripping down on anything. And nothing got pushed back into the front of the engine, the engine sits so low in these things it stayed under the affected area. My Perrin tube did get cut by my top pulley/belt, but there's barely any clearance there to begin with.

Place over the leak(s).

Tape into place.

Change once per month.

There ya go!
