Actually, my father was gone off to war when I was born. They couldn't agree on a name for me, so my birth certificate just says "a boy".

Getting my first passport was a real hassle, when your name is "a boy" ......

I heard it so much as a kid that it is the reason I hate it! I can probably sing half the country music songs from about 1950 to 1970. That does not mean for one second I enjoy it.
