The chip system protects you better than any club would. Unless you are looking for a pre chipped car.

Yep. Even the best of kill switches won't slow them down if they want it though. Guy I used to work with had four Buick Grand Nationals stolen in one year. Club, alarm system with monitoring, kill switches and even removing the distributer cap never even slowed them down. They just pulled in with a wrecker and drove away with the cars.

It's for a prechip car. My 91 MR2.

In that case the club or a switch are effective against the run of the mill screwdriver in the ignition thief that make about 99.9% of car thefts. No sense even trying to stop the "pros" since if they want it, they will take it.

Well, that's exactly what we did for the kill switch, basically tapping into the fuse box (ignition, fuel pump, etc.) and using a remote fuse holder and wiring it to a switch. Something kinda like this:

If you done any sort of basic wiring, it's pretty easy. It was easy on the tacoma since it already had a switch box (for lights etc.), I ended up using an unused foglight switch on the integra while my bro decided to be "extra creative" and placed it under the wheel well lol.

I had a Civic back in the 90's and had a kill switch put in by my alarm installer. Didn't cost very much extra, as he was already wiring up the alarm. Car never got stolen. I did think the car was broken a few times, because I forgot to flip the kill switch though...LOL

Wanted one of these morning when someone was riding my ass, as I was trying to gracefully get over the large speed bumps to get into my work lot. Revved my car up and let off two huge backfire pops at them to let them know how I felt.

Most difficult part for me is when one the rear wheels are in the air and the stock diff screws me over and leaves me stranded. So I end up having to go faster into driveways/ramps or do car gymnastics so both tires have traction. Maybe it's a sign I should get a L$D.

There's one speedbump at work that always gets me since its not level. I try to crawl over it bump still hits the underside. Some lady walking the parking lot was looking at me like wtf is wrong with him

Had an 88 MR2 with later TRD springs. Very small and very low. There are those driveways were you know there is absolutely no way of maneuvering the angle, where the front spoiler doesn't scrape, it's just a question of how much. These are the times where you start swearing even before the scrape.

Speed bumps? For some reason the thud didn't sound as bad as the scrape. I didn't care that the soccer mom in the lifted excursion has to wait a little behind me. People in SUV's need to learn patience and people in lowered cars are the teachers.

I have a 15 FR-S with stock springs now. I'm looking to lower a little with RCE yellows. That's pretty mild, right?

Indeed, when I had Yellows I could get into and out of most driveways by just going at an angle. It's only a 20mm drop so it's very livable day to day, and the handing benefits they add are dramatic. Highly recommend RCE Yellows.

Also, part of me really wants an 80's/90's 911, but of course that's when prices are sky high now. I really want a Safari 911...

A classic 911 has been on my list of cars to own for the longest time. Think by the time I'll ever be able to afford one and get work done on it they'll be all in a junkyard :/
