ATS Racing in Denton, Texas Track Works in Fort Worth, Dusold Designs in Lewisville, Vorshlag in Plano and Cobb/Growler in Plano.

Plenty of places in DFW besides PRT will do custom work.

Is DFW a good trip for car history? I've got a trip there soon, and I like checking out old factories, dealerships, race tracks and such. I know DFW claims the first drive in restaurant, but it looks like it's not still standing.... Are there any old-ass automotive buildings with character that you'd recommend seeing?
Thanks.

There are some museums and a couple of photo spots, but there isn't really a single location that's a car history draw (no route 66 like stuff).

Most of the historical stuff is Ft Worth and that's focused on Cowtown and cowboy stuff.

Some people like going to the the "Monkey Garage" and/or their bar or music venue (they've got events pretty regularly), there are annual Car Shows throughout the area, but I'm not aware of old-ass buildings (they get replaced around here).

There aren't any old race tracks in DFW that I'm aware of and the majority of the dealerships are modern and active (the older stuff is usually out in the boonies, and you get more of it to the South between Austin and Houston).

There are a couple of cool Flight Museums in the area that would make a good day trip and probably have some photo opportunities (Cavanaugh Flight Museum or the Vintage Flying Museum).

Alignment shops

Does anyone know where I can get an off-spec alignment in the allen, Plano, Mckinney area? All my local shops have said it's too much of a liability to do off-spec alignments. I'm looking to get around -1.7 all around. Thanks!

The two most common places people seem to recommend are Tritek in Garland or Pro Tint in Plano

Greetings...

Can anyone recommend a good body shop in N. Dallas? Some a-hole banged his or her car door into my rear passenger side fender and left a noticeable dent. I've also got some chips and scuffs here and there that I wouldn't mind addressing. Not sure about taking it to just any old place because of the unique 10 Series paint color.

I’m looking to go forced induction soon. Anybody know of a shop that has experience with the JDL and/or Edelbrock kits? I’m not sure whether I want to go supercharger or turbo, just want the work done right and local.
