Respect the opinions and decisions of other people. There is nothing wrong with saying that you don't like "it", but at the same time, there is nothing saying that "it" is wrong. Nasty comments are not called for so please just quit. If anything, state why "you" would not apply them to "your" car.

I'll admit that that "NO dove" above is funny.

They look like shit and are very bad for performance.

Well not everyone has a track in their backyard. You completely missed my point...

I can understand putting big heavy wheels on a new civic or something... but it really makes no sense on this car. It will pretty much ruin the good things about it, and make the lack of power even more obvious from a start. Plus good luck going over bumps, or construction zones without bending a rim with that little rubber...

While not everyone has the same taste there is such a thing as bad taste.
Bad proportions = Bad aesthetics = Bad taste.
When the classic rule of thumb “form follows function” is distorted beyond reasonability things don’t look correct. Prodrive is an excellent company but they should know better than to put rubber bands on a FR-S

Sorry for resurrecting this thread but I can't help but share that I saw this car in person while I was on vacation in Osaka back in June '12. Here's a photo of me "drooling" over it (I was BRZ-less back then). Note the license plate number and the rear window decal. Obviously, it was prior to the wheel upgrade.

The world is indeed smaller than we think it is. And yeah, I look stupid in that photo, whatever.

The wheels aren't bad looking, its the tires he's running. I bet he's bent one or two already. 19s max!

The tire calculator says that a 215/30/20 is only 2% larger diameter than the stock primacy's. And you can get a set of 4 of them for $241 shipped from ebay!

Hell, a 275/25/20 is basically the same size as a 265/35/18; a very popular size tire.
