You use Crystal Disk Info, and it shows a bunch of statistics for either an SSD or an HDD

How much has been written to it is what I'd like to know.
I've only had my 850Evo for a little over 1.5 years but have written over 5.5TB of data to it.

Yep. I've lowballed the hell outta people for things I want but don't need. Every once in a while they say yes and I got a good deal. Or they say no and I'm no worse off.

Just cuz someone can afford to pay that price doesn't mean they want to

I actually got that SSD for dirt cheap, was nearly 50% off when I bought it. What I'm asking is legitimately fair price for it.

To put it into perspective, I have something else for sale. It's basically an LED strip controller, and the website I priced mine off of has it for sale for 70 bucks right now (on sale from regular 80). I have it listed for $40. Someone said they'd buy it off me, but my price was too high, so I sent them the newegg link, they retorted with an amazon link showing that amazon has it for 54 (before tax). So even still, I'm selling my item for 25% less, and shipping is included in the price. If someone wanted to pick it up locally, I'd knock ten bucks off the price, so I'm still selling it for half of what Amazon has it for as well, providing it's a local deal.

None of the things (except the keyboards) I'm selling, am I asking top dollar for. I'm simply asking to not get lowballed. At least with the keyboards, people aren't generally lowballers. For example, one of the keyboards I had listed for 110 USD, shipping included in the price (I paid 120 USD, with shipping on top of that). Not five minutes after listing it, I had an offer of 100. I took that, because it's reasonable. It's not an offer for 30-50% less than I'm asking.

Edit: Someone just offered my asking for the SSD. Good stuff

Theoretically you could run something to write all 1s followed by all 0s to destroy the data. If it's an ssd that should be all it takes to erase most of it, unless I'm missing something. An hdd on the other hand needs some large number of writes to make the data non-recoverable.
