She tried to sell me a sunroof for it. Had to convince her the shape of the roof didn't allow it.

Who have you been dealing with? I got mine from Josh. Good guy, but he does have a habit of exaggerating the amount of after market parts available for it :P

Josh came with me yesterday while I drove the auto GTS, and yeah, he likes to exaggerate, especially with his 380rwkw 2jz toyota hilux

I've been dealing with Karthick. Nice enough guy, but when I asked if we get to choose between a mechanical or a torsen LSD like in japan, he said, "I'm not sure, I don't know much about cars"
But still, he's been nice enough to deal with. I have a feeling that quite a few people buying these cars, know more about them than the salespeople because of the research they've been doing.

And yeah, Sonia tried to sell me cruise control which it has as standard, and knew nothing about the standard head unit. And when I asked her about the 2 pioneer options, I asked her what the difference was, and she didn't know.

ordered mine on 8/6/12 GTS manual grey. The tracking is still to be confirmed but just a quick question, would there be any change in waiting time/delay if I want to change the colour? Saw a white one on the street the other day and now having second thoughts.

Yup! Same thing happen to me when i wanted a blue instead of a white. I asked my dealer he asked his stock controller, he said i'll be pushed back to the end of the line which means expect the car next year if you still want to go ahead with the colour change. So I just stuck with the white, which i thank myself for not accepting the colour change, even though blue does look really nice!

You would have to reorder, which means you'd be put at the end of the queue for your dealer again.
My advice: stick with the grey. It looks fantastic in person.

Checked with my sales person today and she verified WA dont get tracking of the vehicles progress.

Not really bothered, makes it a nice surprise although a push out to decemeber or beyond would be an unpleasant one. We shall see.

Seems a bit long. Mine went from in production to in Australia in 3 weeks.

Mine has a CBU destination port arrival date of 13th Jul. Then probably a week and half to get it up to dealer and ready. I've told them to skip on pre-delivery detailing so hopefully speed it up a bit. (Leveraged to get free tint though).

EDIT: regarding transit time - around 10-11 days to Kembla from JPN believe...
