Edelbrock is confident enough in their CARB level of output, that they will warranty your powertrain. It's up to you to decide if 300whp is okay for you or not. That being said, CSG has built hundreds (yes, literally hundreds) of FI/E85 setups locally that have run without issue, and many are approaching that 100k mark. It all really depends on how you use the power. If you want to be nice to the engine, keep the RPMs high when you are flooring it, keep your oil cool, and perform regular maintenance with top shelf products. My turbo car is at 300wtq 360whp, and I track it. |

True, but then you have to worry about the headache of a blown engine, chance of getting a bad used one, and not to mention the fact that the next engine can blow as well.

Currently, the most common optino is to just run it on the stock engine, knowing it *might* not last. Many have been surprised with how long it's gone. There's a JRSC car doing over 345whp, that has been boosted almost 100k miles with 140k on the clock. Original motor. |

Hey guys,
Wondering if any owner of Edelbrock E-force kit tracks their car regularly? I am wondering how these kits hold up at the track. Obviously going to need an oil cooler. Thanks |

My e-force e-85 car has dozen's of track days on it. 323 hp at the wheels. At 50,000 miles I had a head gasket lift so I had to pull the motor. While out I checked the bearings and for the abuse this engine has gone through the bearings looked good enough to go back in. My car has always had PUROL brand oil in it and I think that helped a lot.
