I still say your pressure is too high. Just for fun, try reducing it to 32 psi and see what happens. If you don't like it you can always put the air back in.

Air is cheap.

Hey i know this is totally off topic but I might be heading to Canada in March. We are going to stop off at the horseshoe falls first and then head to Toronto and maybe Ontario. Last time I was there SARS was also there so we really didn't get to enjoy the trip as much as we would have liked. You have any suggestions of places to go and maybe roads that are fun to drive on or is it still to cold for that? Being from Florida all we have are flat and straight roads. Also whats the temps usually like in March? I looked on-line but forecasts do not go that far ahead with any reliability.

I tried to message you but it said your box was full.

Just so everyone knows goodyear installed my rims and tires and put my psi at that level. I figured they knew what they were doing.

Your thread so whatever you talk about is on topic.
Toronto and Niagara Falls ARE in Ontario you will certainly be there. If on a week day and you want to take an hour or so side trip you could come visit me in Woodstock and I can show you how brake rotors are made. I don't know that area well but if there are going to be some great roads they would be around Niagara area since it is the closest thing we have to mountains. March here March here is hard to call as far as weather. It can be nice and warm and summer like or could be positively arctic.

Of course cold can be a factor, picking the best tires for usage conditions is extremely important... But 67 degrees isn't cold! *ANY* decent street tire should have a significant portion of its max grip at 67F... Hell, even NT01 R-comps have respectable grip at 40F.

The guys who initially "helped you out" still left you wondering if you should INcrease pressure from an already ridiculous 44psi up to 51psi!

Then you got defensive when people pointed out the obvious

Obviously pressure should be more in the 32-35psi range, but I'd say the larger issue is that you're probably not on the best tires for grip available for your usage envelope...

My wife really wants to go on a small vacation (her father just passed so if its not snowing or icy roads we will be heading north). Are there any laws I need to know about that are different than the states? My car is stock except the tune so its not loud besides my stereo and subwoofer. I keep them low anyways but I like to do my homework before visiting another country.

I got defensive because people were calling me stupid like I did not know what the word max means. Goodyear installed the tires and inflated the tires so I thought something must have been different than what I am used to. It just turns out the techs who installed them added to much pressure. Besides for 8 months i had no problems until the temps dropped to 38-43F. Does that make sense?

Pretty much all the same as the US except we have crowns on our highway signs. Leave any radar detector you have at home. If they find it they will take it and fine you big time. Oh, and remember the speed signs that say 100 do not mean MPH!

There are some mega modded cars around Toronto so you won't stand out at all. In fact you may see far more twins than you would in Florida.

I was in northern California with Ultra last week and I actually commented on how much everything was the same as here with the exception of the palm trees.

Its currently at 35 and seems fine. If I keep going lower wont my tires wear faster?

35 is fine. You don't need to go lower for any reason.

I was hoping to find some nice twisty roads to have some fun on. Not break the law, just have fun. Oh they use KPH there?
