For some reason my cars rear end feels loose when cornering. There is no damage that is causing this (had the car put on a lift and was told everything looks fine. Not sure where Mazda comes into it but I would trust the guy that made the tire to tell me the maximum pressure and the guy that made the car to tell me what they recommend for operating pressure based on the weight of the car. Two totally different ratings involved.

That was how it worked before the internet, when you typically had something called "instructions" that came with whatever you bought. Life was simple, and it was hard to fuck shit up. Now, you can ask a question on the www and half the people misread your question and the other half has no clue but answers anyway.

Are you lowered on coilovers? I had ST coilovers but because I only drove the car once a week or two, settling time was very gradual over a long period of time. So gradual that I didn't notice it got significantly lower until several months or maybe a year. Also didn't notice how handling gradually worsened over time. Eventually wanted to upgrade my sway bars and noticed my stock sways had white stress marks from being bent right at the chassis brackets (those brackets may have hid it any bends during your inspection). I installed the new sways and couldn't believe how drastically the handling tightened up.

Instructions still come with what you buy but either nobody reads the, they want to second guess them or somebody says they know better that the people that wrote them.

There is no mystery here. He drove on over inflated tires and when it got cold for the first time in many years in Florida he noticed it more. Yet a pile of people need to try and find some race car related reason for the change because they can't believe it is that simple.
