the reason i even ask is because when your stuck in traffic going uphill on the over pass, you are usually only on there for about a minute and will be moving every 3 seconds or so. not sure if this is worth using the handbrake technique.

i forgot about how rush hour sucks. i haven't been stuck on an overpass in rush hour in a long time. i guess it'd be your call.

I havn't bothered using the handbrake since I was first learning how to drive M/T. What I currently do is bring the clutch up to the very beginning of the engagement point. Just enough to prevent the car from rolling backwards. Then off the brake, on to the gas, and go. With as lightweight a car as the FR-S is, and how soft the clutch is, it is pretty easy to get done.

DGM 6MT BRZ Limited in Clear Lake area. I actually purchased mine from Prestige Subaru in Asheville, NC and drove it back. Loving the car so far!

I don't recommend using the handbrake in traffic ever unless you want to be rear ended by an idiot driver, using the bite point of the clutch to move the car is a better and proper way to do it.

If a dealership told you 4 weeks expect It in about 3-3.5 weeks. Being a car salesman we under promise and over deliver.

But good luck on your car man. I get mine this week
