It's a great mouse eh? Love how heavy it is with all the weights in it.

As far as amazon returns go, fantastic. Plus, their customer service agents are super easy to deal with. They have the right idea when it comes to business.

Speaking of codes, hella fucking nice to not need to clear codes with my OFT every single time I get into the car.

So glad I got unlazy and swapped the o2 sensor.

Most be the weekend for PC troubles. The hand-from-me-down Dell 9200 MomHawk uses for light duty PC stuff seems to have eaten it's video card (ATI HD7870) so I've downgraded it to an older card I had laying around.

In the process of doing that it's become obvious it needs on OS rebuild (the current build was XP->W7->W10) so it's installing now.

Probably should just be replaced but she really doesn't use it for much that you couldn't do on an iPad.

I'm just glad I had a spare motherboard laying around for troubleshooting/usage while other one was being RMAd. Other plus side is that I recently bought a new laptop that is great for day to day stuff, plus can handle light duty gaming.

I keep considering a tablet too, since when I'm watching TV, I use my phone for most things, but a 7 or 8" tablet would be just perfect for that use. Torn between an iPad mini or something on the android side. Apple just does tablets so much better.

Tell me again how that got munched? I remember a pic of shorted leads.

I have an original iPad Mini I use for that exact purpose, but only because I won it in a raffle at a tech forum a couple of years ago. I also use it for music/audio books in the FRS.

If I hadn't gotten that one for free, I'd probably just use an Amazon tablet of some sort since they are basically free and we've had good experience with them with various family members. I can't honestly say I think the iPad is any better than the original Kindle Fire it replaced.

I may eventually have to replace the Mini. It's "aged out" and won't take any additional iOS updates, which means apps are starting to fall off the available list.

An angle grinder is apparently stronger than some twisted copper. No big deal, no point in elaborating on how I Jeremy Clarkson'd the shit out of my o2 sensor while changing the header.

Also, technically not "shorted", forgive my pedantry, but working with electricity, that's one of my pet peeves. A lead was entirely severed, leading to an abnormally high voltage, and an abnormally low current, which meant throwing codes.

Aren't you an engineer of some type? You should know the difference

Are the Amazon tablets any good? I keep seeing some of them for under 100 (CAD even!) But it's hard to pull the trigger when I know that there's nothing on the android side that stacks up to an iPad in terms of user experience. If I'm way wrong, then please let me know since I'd love to save a bunch of money
