Integrating Flashchat for Forum? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Hello,

As a past member of the Supramania vbulletin forum, one feature that I thought was really cool was the Flashchat chatroom. You can goof off like normal, but in uh, real time?, with others who are also online

Just an idea, but would it be possible to get this going for our own vbulletin forum?

This discussion comes up once every other yr or so... and tbh not sure I'm a fan of flashchat chatroom in here.

But that's just me.

The ft86 subreddit just set up a discord server. It is pinned at the top of the subreddit.

OT is close enough. Moderating a chat would be damn near impossible

No doubt that moderating OT is damn near impossible. Or at least it would have been about a year ago. Not so hard now.

Even now, it's almost impossible. Look at how fast OT posts goes up... PLUS think bout all other ppl posting in different threads. Instead, they post in chat... yeah, I'm not moderating that. If I had to, I'll quit

The number of threads created in the wrong section seems to growing rapidly.

Yeah, I try to check both general section twice a day to clean it up... but some days, I just can't keep it up.
