I live 250 miles (400 km) south of you and I buy some of the best all-season tires for my BRZ (Conti DWS) and I buy snow tires for my Forester. Either of those options would have been cheaper than what it will cost you now to repair all of the damaged stuff you have.

Stock tires don't grip that well in dry, summer conditions. In the snow you may as well just save yourself the trouble and back up into the rock yourself when parking so you've got that to stop the car from sliding around.

Well now, I would agree with you, IF you don't have to take your car out on slick roads.

For the rest of us, I have found it's best to have installed at least all season tires ...... that way you have a fighting chance .....

Zero problem with English as a second language. This is a global forum and native English speakers are spoiled.

Pride and ego, however, are universally irritating. Op asks for help. Argues. :/

Honestly though, if that bumper isn't cracked, try the boiling water trick. Google it or search on youtube.

I had a friend who did it on his camry. Huge dent in his rear bumper. He boiled some water in a pot, walked outside and poured it over the dent while trying to push out the dent from the other side. The dent popped right out, although you could still see some creases and cracked paint from the edges of the dent.

And yea, get a new catback system. It wont give CEL or a gas smell. Throw in some winter or at least all season tires.

I've never seen a car slide down a snowy driveway on its own when the parking break is engaged. Especially not diagonally when those tires are pointed straight...
