At this point, why would you take anyone's advice?

Have you looked at the cx racing kit? You can buy it piece by piece since it seems that’s what you’re dead set on and it’s cheap and Chinese

Threads like this are why I'm trying to save up as soon as possible to get a 2018+ Civic type-r or a 2018+ Audi TT-RS. I'm getting to old for this crap!

Because if you ask for advice, people give it, and then you choose to not believe them, then whats the point of continuing dialog. I mean, if you had just said "I want to learn the details of how turbo systems work farm to table" that would be one thing, but instead your insistent that you can do better for less despite what informed people have told you. If you feel eveyone's advice is bad then why would you believe what size turbo anyone would tell you or anything else for that matter. Do you just want to be told what you want to hear? At this point I think you are just trolling people.

Well this thread has certainly been an entertaining read. Gotta say I don't plan on going forced induction any time soon, I'm sticking with NA for the foreseeable future, but as many of the good people in this thread have suggested I would just buy a kit rather than trying to cobble together my own system for this. Maybe on some other cars it makes more sense to put your own thing together, but for this platform there are so many companies competing for a fairly small market that it produces a pretty good sized pool of reliable products to choose from at a reasonable price. With as many options as are out there I just don't see the point in spending time, money, or engines on doing a custom turbo setup.

And with that, I vote that we all just stop feeding someone who clearly doesn't want to listen to us. Besides, he said in his first post that it won't be FI for a while. Might as well wait to see if he wises up.
