I know you said you are a noob but you should really research wheel fitment, alignment, and wheel to strut clearance first before just saying "I want XYZ wheels with ABC suspension". Things like alignment and tire/fender clearance matter.

Thanks for feedback.

I saw a write up a guy from Speed Academy did a few years ago that cemented my choice of wheel (there are pictures of this exact wheel in the exact size tire I want on his car)

I love the color and look of the wheels.

Here is a link you can check it out if you want.

Thanks again.

As far as the specific parts I chose do you have any suggestions and reasons behind them?

This is the first forum I joined amd participated in and I'm finding it a bit fun.
I'm more of an anti-modder. Aside from shitposting, most of my activity here is to help others figure out issues they're having. I have a couple fun mods but aside from my catback, you wouldn't see anything special.

I have strong feelings about foremost protecting the powerplant and driveline

This is my first and remains my only social media activity. I'm hooked. Some really great folks here.

I'm not going to argue with a few people over the internet over which tire is better since going from a stock 215 to anything 255 will be an improvement in traction and without experiencing both tires in
the same size, he'll be happy with either new tire. I don't track my car but in daily driving, I spun out 3 times on the Michelins when pushing them to their limit and would constantly slide around like
they were wet when it was dry out. The Firestones just stick unless I floor it and jerk the steering wheel in a tight turn and even then, they seem to have better control in a slide. Maybe if the Michelins are
thoroughly heated up they perform better in racing but on the street they sucked balls. If the prices were switched on those two tires and the Firestones were $400 more, I would still buy the Firestones.
Maybe I got suckered and had a older set of the Michelins(didn't happen to see the manufacturer date) but I am 100% sure that the Firestone has better traction than that Michelin.
I subjectively and objectively have tested both, having purchased both tires with my own money, just how you have.

You forget that you're comparing a heat cycled, aged, work MPSS to a new Firehawk. I bet if the comparison were done in the other direction, you'd be singing praises of the MPSS.

The MPSS is the superior tire, but the Firehawk is half the price.

I have a used set of 17" LE37 if you're interested in wheels sized properly to a NA car.

For me that's the same as stickers. Most everything after the header just affects sound. You run e85(?) and a turbo which puts you in a completely different league than the OP. I was commenting on NA vehicles.

And they're not dead yet?

Wow that's certainly the shoe selection!

Would you say the PSS would be the best all around? I love in South Florida so we tend to get a lot of rain and safety is my primary concern.

I know the wheel well, I'm not talking about that.

I'm referring to you seemingly fitting the wheels first, then the suspension later. Poor planning if you do it that way.... plus, how are you going to get the alignment specs you want with the parts you've listed?
