I'm just more pissed that she entirely disregarded even basic online security things.

The ONLY saving grace may be that she used our current address that isn't tied to any of her accounts.

This kind of situation really a difficult problem to solve.

A lot of people don't apply the critical thinking when it comes to this stuff. It doesn't mean they aren't smart; they just don't know that they should think it through to make sure it's authentic.

Eh, I call it exploitation of expected human behavior.

If something sounds dangerous (figuratively) then someone will respond to it with fight or flight, and in this kind of situation it's fight. The problem is not understanding the threat before confronting it, IMO.

I just looked up my old house off Coleman Road down there. It looks to be in good shape. I just don't know if it's $1.4 million (Zillow est.) worth of good shape. Back in 1971, I paid $33,000 to have it built .........

I had almost this exact thought when I read it. @Cole for what it's worth this really isn't something to be pissed at, she obviously feels bad that she was dupped, and I'm guessing it won't happen again.

Look at it as an opportunity to be supportive, she will need it if things go bad because of it.

Yep, most all of the prune, apricot, cherry and pear trees were pulled up ..... and they planted houses......
