Careful, up in Cape Breton people drive straight through as if there is no center to the roundabout. They keep destroying the plants in the middle.

Those damned plants.
"Yield to the vehicle already in the circle"
"Hey I have an idea let's plant trees so nobody can see who is in the circle already"

YIKES ...... that brings up a back-in-the-day story about my first encounter with the Arc De Triomphe roundabout in Paris.

It was a dreary day when we entered Paris, one late afternoon, heading for a hotel near the Arc De Triomphe, driving a VW bug with "USA" plates.

I entered that huge traffic circle (12 streets entering it) at rush hour with a massive misconception on who had the right of way. You see, at the time at least, the rules were different in France (Paris at least) than the rest of the world .......

Did not crash.

THE END

I seem to know far more pop culture than anybody my age ever should. I have to wonder what I have forgotten to make the room for it all.

Yep, that will fix up fine, a few taps with a rubber hammer, some bondo, rubbing compound and some touch up paint ....... (then people will really stare)......

Seriously, welcome to the forum and I hope you get your car fixed up soon.
