Exactly! Half a cup of coffee, still hot, left alone for 30 seconds? Gone!

I'll tell you what we ought to do, though. We should thank every deity anyone has ever named for these amazing women; who, for completely unfathomable reasons, have chosen to live with slobs like us.

No... She has very eloquent and rather long winded monologues for that.

That condition is called hyperbilirubinemia, also known as jaundice.

It's commonly caused by exposure to bacteria that have multiplied on damp towels and bathrobes hanging together on a single hook.

Santa brought mrs humfrz one of those Amazon Echo things for Christmas. Along with a TV Firestick.

So, now she and the two granddaughters can talk into the Firestick and make the TV do things ...... AND they can talk into the Cable remote and make the TV do things.

In addition, they are carrying on a conversation with some girl named Alexa on the Echo thing.

All I want to do is watch the news for about an hour in the evenings, which is recorded on some cable box thing ..........but, I can't figure out how to get to it, with all the remotes .....

I liked the old days ...... just the radio with one AM dial and 4 stations - on a clear night.

...
Why would you want the TV to do things?
I just want mine to stay perfectly still and show me something interesting.
It does the first part remarkably well.

I got an echo dot as a gift... Not sure what to do with it.
My daughter got a kick out of it when she asked which My Little Pony is her favorite though.

My wife and I had fun with Alexa the other night after a margarita or two.

"Alexa, play my bloody hemroids by my anus."

" i cannot find my bloody hemroids by my anus. "

Yes, we are that juvenile.

Last year my aunt gave me one for Christmas. Had to circumvent the whole "not available in Canada yet" so it kind of turned me off of it.

Ended up getting a Google home mini with my Pixel 2, and absolutely love it. Works way better since I'm far more invested into the Google ecosystem than I am Amazon.

I hate it when I hear someone refer to remotely operated vehicles as robots.

No kidding. Only boats move by rowing. Or does that also apply to a sideways column of vehicles too...? Now I'm not sure.
