Hmmm... That's crazy.

I'll curse you for jinxing me if my lugs ever shit the bed.

And if I'm just crazy, on the shelf they will sit, satisfying my sense of value perfectly.
Aha, now I understand your point!
I'm probably a little dimwitted in such matters, I usually just take the car to the dealer and have them replace broken or worn parts with the same original parts.
Except for wheels. I have the original wheels stashed away for the day I want to sell the car. Aftermarket wheels, even my shiny Enkeis, makes the car less desirable on the Norwegian market.

Nope. Not working on the car in this cold.

Did you get all the stock stuff working? steering wheel controls, aux/usb port, backup camera? I have been cursed with a (nearly brand new) phone that doesn't get along with Subaru's HU... so I now need to replace the HU. Just starting research.

Looks nice!

Rust resistant plating from McGard here. The version sold at Crappy Tire is exactly the same minus the surface treatment but only 1/3 of the price at $129 CAD.

Funny how I bought this from Japan and it is Made in Buffalo NY which is not that far from here.

Fucking it's so cold here I'm having a hard time with the fuel door release on the old Lexus. Once I managed to get the fuel door open the door won't close shut until I take the car for a wash with hot water.
