It is 65 F in San Jose with no rain in sight. It's nice, but man we need some weather.

-20 F is more enjoyable than -2 because it's interesting. -2 is just in that miserable range. Ok for frozen turkey but that's about it.

Moderately windy, but I also recently got a haircut so the sides of my head are very, very weak and not at all used to the cold. Will need to remember to wear a toque moving forward.

OK, took one granddaughter to the dentist ...... she did not like that .......

Stopped got her (and the other two) a toy ..... that made it all better.

Just changed the 1.5 year olds diaper ....... no poopy, just wet, I lucked out....

Time to eat my oatmeal and watch the news - if I can get Peppa-Pig off the TV, then take a 2 hour nap with the toddler (tough duty, but I can handle it).

Pa-pa is busy .....

My girlfriend is fan-freaking-tastic. She surprised me with a 3 month subscription of craft beer. So that's 12 beers each month.

When she told me I was a bit apprehensive since I've had so many different beers and I wasn't sure if I'd even get anything new in the packs. Turns out that this month's pack was 6 different beers, and I'd only had one of them.

She really knocked it out of the park.

December 24th was 6 months of no drinking for me.

Currently my co-workers are popping cans of IPA and drinking tequila.

Congrats on not drinking. Cutting back has done wonders for me. I think that's the main reason I shed 15 pounds since May or June. Plus, I'm much less irritable now, so that's a big plus.

I don't really care about cans vs bottles, but if I'm drinking bottles, I'd rather they're 750ml vs 341
