Well! I will soon have a BRZ in the garage once again. Confirmed allocation today, now it just has to find its way to the local dealer. Went for a 2017 Limited because $800 cheaper, and nothing remotely useful new for that price increase - though it meant I had to take it as it came.
So. I'll probably have the PP brakes available... seems silly perhaps, but half my wheels don't fit and it's quite a bit heavier than the AP Sprint + boring regular rear, and... well... meh. May change my mind. Also ended up with trunk liner and stuff I don't care about (actually think I still have the trunk liner, wanted the homelink mirror... could care less about the stupid blue footwell lights and rear bumper vinyl...) blah. Wheels are nicer. Sitting on the shelf... spare clears the Sprint though! bonus. Maybe I can offset a little of the $ loss selling some of the stuff I don't want though. Whee?

One of the hardest things to do is realize you're best off finishing the job another day. What springs?

The flashing light can be controlled when you turn on your hazards then pushing the signal stalk left or right... again, it can be customized to your liking. Also, when you lock your car it'll turn all 4 signal lights on for 20 seconds (again you can change it etc). Basically gives you light when you're walking away or something. Nice deal since the lights on the 17 brz are pretty deng bright. Although, i know the headlights stays on for certain amount of time too when you leave your car. But I have the habit of turning my headlights off when I leave the car. |

What did I do... well...
In the last 2 weeks shes had Stage 2 Sprintex 210SPS fitted (with existing flex fuel). New high carbon discs up front with matched pads and EBC braided hoses all round... with some top notch brake fluid. Then too, her in for some new tyres. Good a great deal on Bridgestone re003s. Happy camper. Now just bedding in the brakes before I can start enjoying it more

Finally got time to install my Invidia Gemini R400
![]() ![]() ![]() The exhaust tone is much deeper and maintains that deep tone throughout the rev range, no real drone to report and quiet for highway driving. Last edited by GhostRai; 12-26-2017 at 07:38 PM. |

Finally finished putting on the 4th spring, and left her to get aligned. I'll be picking her up when it's dark, so no pics for now. I really looking forward to taking a clean pic and comparing before and after!

Installed Baja Designs Squadron Sport lights with yellow cornering lenses. Painted calipers black. Installed rpf1s 17x7. And gave it a bath. And today was a good day.

Cerma transmission treatment. Notorious cold start crunches are gone. Shifts as smooth as silk regardless of temperature. Tonight was 10 degrees F not a single crunch after letting the car sit outside in it for 8 hours at work.
