OEM 1974 Porsche blinker fluid is hard to get and very costly. At least it is incandescent bulb fluid and not the crappy LED stuff they use now.

Ahhhhh ....... tomorrow is Christmas morning .......

I remember when I was a kid, back on the farm, I had a hard time sleeping the night before Christmas because I was so excited to see what my three presents were.

We couldn't open presents until all the chores were done, so I would get up about 0400 and go out in the cold and dark and do ALL the chores, so my father wouldn't have any excuse to hold us off from opening presents.

* feed every animal (about 500 of them - cows, chickens, horses, pigs and sheep), scattered over 200 acres.

* fill all the kerosene heaters under the livestock watering tanks and fill the tanks with water by a hand pump.

* milk every cow that was lactating

* collect the eggs

* come in the house and stoke up a fire in the coal furnace in the basement

* then fry some home cured bacon ...... which the smell would wake up my dad.

* eat breakfast

* then we could open our three presents .......

Did I bitch? No, because I was part of the silent generation .....
