I stopped counting the spam threads at about 24 and each one was a different user name so he would need a lot of anime to stay calm.

Sometimes I wonder where people's heads are...
First off, a flight was booked for me by our office administrator for flying back home. Not a big deal, except that the flight was booked for 415pm, and I have about zero hours of work to do on Monday, so I'll be twiddling my thumbs in the hotel until 11am (checkout time) and then trying to find something to do until I have to leave Edmonton to head to the airport (about a 40 minute drive). So, that kinda sucks big time. Not like I wanted to actually have some time in the evening with my girlfriend or anything. With a 415 flight, I'd get in around 930, and probably home by 1030, naturally, she has her longest day on Tuesdays so I'd rather her not stay up waiting for me. Second of all, the office administrator booked a hotel for me. When I explained "no, I won't need that, I only live 30 minutes away from the office and will get myself there" she said "well, that's not what the plan is, so too bad". Finally, it's my birthday on Tuesday, and there's no way that after being in a meeting from 9-5 that day, do I want to go out to dinner with the people I've been working with for months, and have just spent my entire day with in a conference room when I could go home and see what my girlfriend has planned up for us to do. I caught flack from my boss for saying "sorry, can't do dinner since it's my birthday and my girlfriend has been planning things for weeks now" Oh well, the end is near, and I have enough vacation to take me through to the first or second week of April. |

Odd. Are you on good terms with the administrator? The choices make sense if there was no time or incentive to ask for your input.

Literally never deal with her apart from things like vehicle registration and stuff. I usually book all my own stuff, but because there's 7 of 8 people heading to Ontario for the meeting on Tuesday, I think she just did a bulk booking, rather than asking people about their preferences.
