I got what you meant.
Save the children but don't do it by throwing all the bystanders in the water with you.

When should people try to be heroes? Only when a kid falls into an icy river? Or do you just try to stop anyone from saving him and yell 'you could get hurt trying to save that kid, you idiot!'.

Yea this case is more like jumping into an icy river to save a child when there's already a rescue boat 10 feet away from it.

I'm very depressed to see this beautiful car abused like this. Driver should be death penalized for the murder of an innocent vehicle.

To bring this point home:

I had a collision in my Jeep Cherokee once in which I legally turned left on a green arrow toward a freeway on ramp and had the guy facing me take off straight against his red light. I screeched to a complete stop, and he didn't hit me. He went past, and I started again.

However, the stupid cow behind him suddenly looked up from her navel, realized traffic had moved and gunned it. She moved about ten feet before she hit me. I had just moved five to ten feet from my prior emergency stop. Neither of us could have been traveling more than 10 miles per hour.

The impact spun me around and slammed me into a curb. I hit it hard, and if it hadn't been there I probably would have made a full rotation at least. It knocked the tire off my front wheel and bent the rim. It broke the rear hub completely off the axle and bent that rim as well. It's a Dana 35 axle, so not the strongest in the world, but still a reasonably capable axle used off road.

I would never have believed that wreck could do that much damage if I hadn't lived through it myself. If that little slow speed impact could have that much force in it, a dipshit drunk ramming that guy in the video could easily have spun him into other vehicles or even rolled him over if the angle had been a little different. Plus you don't know what other drivers around you are going to do, and it would be entirely possible to have a secondary collision where someone swerved to avoid the first one.

As far as I'm concerned it wasn't a bright move.

It is amazing that the Twin was able to run into the back of the first truck since according to many people here every other single car on the road is so much faster.

Seriously. He was probably fleeing to the hospital due to the injuries from the first crash. Cut the guy some slack. Hahaha

The 86 is a pretty tough car. Watch the NZ Toyota 86 racing series. Those are stock 86's with a roll cage and that's pretty much it. I've seen some wicked hits and those cars keep going. Both accidents with other cars and with the wall too. I've been impressed how tough this car is.
