Anyone painted or dipped their MY17 (non PP) wheels?

I just swapped over to my winter set and I'm thinking about plastidipping the stock wheels while they're off the car. Just looking for any pictures to get an idea of what color I might want to try.

I wouldn't have posted the question if I hadn't already searched. I've found fewer than 3 examples of the MY17 wheels so far, which if you weren't aware are different from earlier models. It was my hope that someone here who had done it would post pictures of their car.

@Tcoat: Pretty sure they never made a 2017 FRS bud.

LOL
They will look just like the 2017 wheels only a different colour.

Which makes a big difference and you don't really know what it'll look like until you see it.

So you drive a 2017. Congratulations!

I drive a 2013. But whatever....

Plastidip is very inexpensive and removable.

When we couldn't find pics of a wheel back in 2012, we used photoshop to see how they looked.

What colors of plasti are you considering?

I was thinking bronze, gold, dark grey, or maybe white but I'm pretty open to other options. I was hoping to see some examples but if there really aren't any I might just have to just try something. I'm not really the experimental type and going in blind without knowing the result bothers me a little.

Look, I wasn't trying to make a big deal of this. I just wondered if anyone here had personally done it and wanted to share their experience. If not, no big deal. In either case the sarcasm parade wasn't needed.

White wheels need to be washed all the time. Plastidip actually is pretty tough for what it is, and can be washed multiple times. (As long as you spray enough coats; the more the better for removing the stuff) But, I wouldn't do white, you are bound to peel some off while cleaning.

I say: Get one of the first three colors you mentioned and try it.

Bronze always looks good!
