2014 Brz vs 2013 Frs windshield??

So I'm trying to repair my windshield and was wondering if the frs windshield is the same as the brz? I wouldn't want to have to part out an frs and have it be the wrong piece for my brz haha

They are IDENTICAL

However good luck removing it without breaking it.

Just to pile on ...... that is one not so good of an idea ......

I'm quite experienced at pulling parts for cars out of junk yards, but I NEVER would try that. If you don't crack it getting it out, there is a good chance you will crack it putting it in your car ...... even if you do get it in, there is a good chance it will leak.

There are better ways to save money .......

Actually it is not that bad pulling a windshield if you don't care about the car... modern windshields are glued in and it is a fairly straight forward procedure to cut the glue with the proper tool. It you care about the car the thing to watch is not to cut through the paint and cause rust issues long term - but this is not so much of an issue if it is a car in a scrap yard. Lifting the windshield out is obviously easier with two people and suction cups...

Unlike the old days with gaskets and sealant, it is pretty rare to have a glue in windshield leak if you apply a good bead. Motorized "caulking guns" help in this respect.
