OEM Tail light upgrades

I recently got new LED lights for my whole car. I was able to install all of them today except for my tail light bulbs that I don't know how to get to. I have a picture of someone opening their tail lights that I found online. I don't know how he was able to open them like that and would like to learn how he did it if anyone knows. I have the pictures to show you what I can't access in order to add some LED bulbs.

What is the green round thing with the white rectangle/oval looking thing that is connected to the red round part of the tail light that lights up and how do I access it so I can make it brighter with LEDs and what size LEDs would I need to use?

The brakes/Tail lights are LED. That green thing is a PCB. You don't need to take the rear lights apart at all.

Turn signal and side marker are the only things in the tail lights that are replaceable. The rest is LED already.

I get it. I had a feeling it was LED already and I planned on making them even brighter with stronger LEDs but I guess it isn't worth the hassle then. Thanks guys it helped me out a bunch!
