Can't decide on frontpipe. Suggestion?

Ignoring brand name, my setup is: uel catless header, stock over/front, resonated catback (muffler).

I just put the UEL header on and its currently pretty loud. I would like to tone it down a bit. So, I don't know just how much sound dampening I need to satisfy my specific needs (this is all new to me), but one thing is for sure I don't want too much rasp in higher rpms, and I don't want it to sound too muffled either.

The options I'm looking at currently are:

Dual catted & resonated: $849
http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/jdl-...-s-brz-86.html

Single catted: $649
http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/jdl-...-s-brz-86.html

Single highflow catted: $599
http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/moti...pipe-1301.html

I've seen a couple youtube videos showing off these frontpipes, but there aren't very many to begin with, let alone used on setups specifically closer to mine.

I'm also having a hard time justifying $200 more just for an additional resonated cat..

So, I feel like the highflow would be too loud, and the dual catted would be too damp, and the single catted would be juuuust right.

Thoughts?

If you want it quieter than the stock front pipe, only the dual catted will work. Even then, it might be louder than the stock front pipe. Otherwise the other two options will be louder than stock. Get a new catback.

You might add the Fujitsubo dual resonated front pipe to your list:

Sorry, if your current setup with a stock front pipe is too loud, it's because your exhaust is too loud.

You should consider changing that first.

You might want to check out CSG's Laguna Seca catback.

Aftermarket front pipes seem to have high-flow cats, I would bet that two of these would still be louder than the stock cat.

BTW, both single catted front pipes you linked are "high" flow 200 cells.

And I'd get the cat+resonator personally

You're not going to find a front pipe quieter than stock. If anything consider changing your catback to something quieter.

Go back to stock cat back.
Get a duel resonated cat delete FP like HKS or Fujitsubo.
Also Invidia's resonated FP is nice.
But ya. Stock cat back would be the most tame. Biggest suitcase muffler.
