Playing cards - the original fidget spinner?
I recently found my very old deck of playing cards in my ottoman, and it reminded me of how fun it was in my youth to play simple games and do card tricks. Plenty of entertainment for a few bucks with something you can carry around in your pocket, and it's nice to do something other than stare at a screen. And if someone has busy hands, they can "fidget" with cards with a variety of cardistry moves.
I decided to buy myself a new deck of cards, and ran across a beautiful set from Theory11 called High Victorian. The deck tuck is stunning with the contrast between metallic green/gold and matte black, and the detail on the cards is nice. I love seeing good craftsmanship. Anyone else have nice set?
